Maria Paz Galarce Crain, Vice President-elect

Maria Paz Galarce Crain, Riverside School’s Assistant Program Director, has nearly 10 years of experience in the field of education, specializing in literacy, multi-lingual instruction, inquiry-based learning, curriculum development, and culturally relevant pedagogy. Deeply devoted to quality and accessible education, Maria Paz is committed to fostering strong community while providing equitable educational opportunities and superior instructional support to create the best environment for education possible for all students. Maria Paz has served as MRA’s Adolescent Literacy Committee’s chair for the past two years and is so excited to join the Executive Board as the Vice President-elect. Maria Paz loves all things creative and nature-based and can often be found reading in any hammock she comes across.
